  • 1 1/2 cups (3sticks) butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups(12oz package) semisweet mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
  • extra powdered sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven 375
  2. Beat butter, sugar, vanilla and salt in large mixing bowl til creamy.
  3. gradually beat in flour, stir in mini chips and nuts. Shape level tablespoons of dough into 1 1/4in balls. Place on ungreased baking sheets.
  4. Bake for 10-12 mins or until cookies are set and lightly browned. Remove from oven. Sift powdered sugar over hot cookies on sheets, cool for 10 mins and then remove to wire racks to cool. Sprinkle with additional powdered sugar if desired.
