This New York steak recipe is one of our favorites. I think anything grilled tastes great, but a New York strip steak is the best.This cut of meat is very tender and forgiving. Meaning that, unless you burn it, you can't go wrong with it. You can use the garlic and parsley sauce as shown in the picture, or you can omit it.

Directions

  1. *Heat grill.
  2. *Season steak with any of your favorite steak seasonings.
  3. *Grill steaks according to how you like it i.e. rare, medium rare, well done. We usually grill our steaks 7 minutes a side.
  4. *In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic and chopped parsley. Add extra virgin olive oil just enough to cover the garlic and parsley mix. Add more olive oil if the mixture is dry. It should not be like a paste, but rather thin like a sauce.
  5. *To serve, spread the garlic and parsley mixture on top of the steaks.
