This is a great pork chop recipe that I got from my mom. I know that originally she got the idea off of a German cookbook many years ago.

Since then, she tweaked the recipe and added a few ingredients of her own. I have been using her version for quite sometime. I don't eat pork often, but do love pork chops.

Directions

  1. *Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
  2. *Dredge the pork chops in flour.
  3. *In a pan, add 2 T. Olive Oil.
  4. *Add the pork chops and brown, about 3 minutes a side.
  5. *Remove the pork chops from the pan.
  6. *Add butter and more olive oil if needed.
  7. *Add the onions. Cook for about 6 minutes.
  8. *Add the beer.
  9. *Add the pork chops back in the pan. Cover, and cook on low for about 15 minutes or until done.
  10. *When done, add the chopped parsley.
  11. **To serve: You can eat the chops alone or serve with rice.
