Minced Chicken & Cabbage Soup Recipe

  • 100g minced chicken (keep aside 1 tbsp for frying)
  • 2 stalks spring onion (sliced thinly)
  • 1 tbsp corn flour
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 4 pips garlic (chopped)
  • 150g/1/4 cabbage (shredded)
  • 1 tsp chicken granules (optional)
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 litre water
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Into minced chicken, add 3/4 of the sliced spring onions, cornflour, black pepper powder, light soy sauce ginger and salt.
  2. Mix all together and keep aside.
  3. When oil is heated, fry garlic and 1 tbsp of the minced chicken for about 2 to 3 mins.
  4. Add water, chicken granules and season with salt.
  5. Simmer to heat through.
  6. Drop small portions of the prepared minced chicken inside and
  7. cook until they float up.
  8. Off heat, add cabbage, spring onion and stir.
