Crystalized GINGER candy by FoodessaThis pungent, intense root of GINGER has now been integrated in my kitchen for at least 10 years or so. Admittedly at first, I could only stand to eat a hint of it in my food. It really was an acquired taste for me. Now, it seems, I just can't get enough of it! So much so, that I wanted to start making my Homemade Candied… |

coleslaw - the best you'll ever taste by Chez la mereI could eat the whole thing by myself. Before it even has a chance to marinate in the fridge. But if you do let it marinate for any length of time, you will have to drain it in a seive before serving and maybe spice it up a bit again just before serving. Unless you like your coleslaw really really soupy. |

Boston Pizza's Copy Cat Pizza Burger by MonocotA Much better, Tastier version then the restaurant. In my pictures you can't see the tomato sauce but it's there. Instead of making your own burger, You can use bought burgers. even tofu or veggie burgers. Just precook them first and use warm. The 15 minutes finishing time won't heat the burger fully if its cold. |

Raw Vegetable Salad for a Crowd by A.L. WiebeLike many of my recipes, this one has been hanging around since the '70's, and it is always a huge hit. I have never tried to alter it in any way, as I've never felt it needed it; but if anyone has any suggestions, fire away! It takes a bit of planning, as it needs to marinate overnight, but it's well worth it. Because it makes such… |
