Easy Sour Cream Biscuits by Salad FoodieQuick to the table because there's no cutting of shortening into flour mixture. Just stir in sour cream, knead lightly, pat out, cut and bake. Couldn't be simpler to get homemade biscuits on the table. I like to use up the tail end of the sour cream this way. |

Red Lobster Cheddar Biscuits - Nuwave/Flavorwave Ovens by Wendy JarvisThese are Red Lobsters Cheddar Buscuits with a twist, they are made in your Nuwave/Flavorwave Ovens. Note: I add all together. If I have extra cheese I top with a bit of shredded cheese. You want to take these out as soon as they are done. Otherwise they will keep cooking! |

Buttermilk and Butter Biscuits - with Attitude! by Salad FoodiePlaying with a biscuit recipe one day I pondered…..what if I subbed butter for the shortening and added some kick-up seasonings? The result got great reviews from guests…. and hours later and at room temp, the “attitude” was delightfully more pronounced.....mm-m! Buttermilk makes them tender and light, while the butter…..oh the… |

English Muffins Bread Machine/Nuwave/Flavorwave Oven by Wendy JarvisThese are light and airy just like their counter parts. When cooked in the Nuwave/Flavorwave ovens, muffins will be "puffy". I make these every week and freeze them. They are wonderful! This is a converted recipe from Dustbunni, and a recipe she found on the internet. This is what she had to say about them: When I landed on this… |

Buttermilk Biscuits by Candice GoodyearI have tried lots of recipes for homemade biscuits and none compare to this one. They came out moist and flaky. The only thing I did different is I added 1 egg. I found this recipe from a Houston,TX chef So for all you Texas folks this is a GREAT recipe for biscuits. |

Yogurt Biscuits with Dill by Jaz CooksMakes 9 biscuits It's hard to find a good biscuit without shortening. This one is great! The yogurt acts similarly to buttermilk, and helps the biscuits rise. I also make these without dill, to eat with butter and honey. You can cut them using round cutters if you prefer, but cutting them in squares is much easier, and keeps you… |

Big Ole Southern Biscuits w/ Flax Seeds by SmokinhotchefNothing says southern hospitality like big, hot and buttery biscuits. I learned the basics of "ho' cakes" by the time I was 10 years old. This recipe pairs well with just about anything and has a healthy dose of one of the new super foods- flax seeds. These decadent biscuits go especially well with another southern favorite,… |

Buffet Cream Cheese Biscuits by Cathy W.I almost gave up trying to make biscuits until I tried making them with "soft" flour. Try using White Lily or Martha White brand flours in your biscuits and you'll be amazed at the results. These biscuits are good for a buffet since they will hold up and are more firm for spreading with a topping. This recipe makes a lot so… |

Baking Powder Biscuits by myra byankaThis classic recipe makes about 8 biscuits (2 1/2 inch diameter). I like to brush melted butter on the tops after the biscuits come out of the oven. If you have leftovers, do not refrigerate. Just wrap them in plastic, and heat the next day in the oven, which is the best way to re-heat all bread products. |
