Marble Cake Recipe
A moist and delicious cake thats great with a cup of coffee
Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 2 teas. baking powder
- 1/2 teas. salt
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 teas. vanilla
- 3/4 hershey's chocolate syrup
- 1/4 teas. baking soda
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Beat everything in mixer except chocolate syrup.
- Pour 2/3 of the batter into a greased pan or bundt pan.
- To the other 1/3 of the remaining batter, add the chocolate syrup, and mix well.
- Pour this over the white batter. Using a knife, go up and down through the batter, causing it to marble.
- Bake 40-45 minutes.
