You need just basic ingredients to make this Kiwi Strawberry Smoothie – Kiwi, Chilled Milk, Yogurt, and Oats, that’s it and of course, the blender. Just mix in the ingredients and blend it until smooth. Smoothies are usually the easiest way of encouraging your kids to try different types of fruit. Simply decide on a good combination of flavors, whiz it all up and drink.

  • 2 kiwi fruit peeled and chopped
  • 1 Cup strawberry hulled and chopped
  • 1 Cup milk at room temperature
  • 1/4 Cup breakfast oats
  • 1/4 Cup yogurt
  • Honey to taste
  • Ice cubes, optional

Directions

  1. Whiz the chopped kiwi fruit with the half of milk, yogurt, oats and ice-cubes.
  2. Blend until smooth. Pour into the serving glasses.
  3. Make sure not to completely fill the glasses with the kiwi smoothie.
  4. Next clean the blender and whiz the strawberries with the remaining milk, yogurt and oats.
  5. Pour the strawberry smoothie over the kiwi smoothie.
  6. Sweeten with honey if you prefer. Serve immediately topped with chopped strawberries.
  7. Alternatively, you can blend all the ingredients together and serve.
