My version of Nigella's Chocohotpot

My version of Nigella's Chocohotpot by Padma Priya Manikam

This is a dessert made by British chef Nigella and I have made it several times varrying a little. The original recipe calls for 4 ramikens but I bake mine in a rectangle oven-proof dish. I also use Van Houten's cooking chocolate. Below is the recipe adapted by me and for the original recipe kindly refer to the web link.

Raspberry Banana Pie with Coconut Pastry

Raspberry Banana Pie with Coconut Pastry by Hungry Jenny

A nice healthy pie with fresh raspberries and banana, plus a butter free pastry base that has a mild coconut flavour. You can eat two slices and not feel guilty ;-) You can substitute with 350g 'normal' sweet shortcrust pastry if preferred. http://hungryjenny.blogspot.com/2010/07/friday-pie-day-raspberry-banana-pie.html

Butter Free Chocolate Orange Rum Cake

Butter Free Chocolate Orange Rum Cake by Hungry Jenny

These sunk a little when I made them, but I have adjusted the temperature and baking time so that this hopefully won't happen to you... Failing that, the chocolate icing is a good way to cover it up! http://hungryjenny.blogspot.com/2010/11/butter-free-chocolate-orange-rum-cake.html

Simple Classic Sponge Cake

Simple Classic Sponge Cake by shruthisingh4

Baking a perfect sponge may be a real challenge to most of us first timers..You may have been through this a number of times, or even heard people tell you before...:“My cake did not rise at all..! It was one big mess,Dense, hard and tasteless. It rose well in the oven,it also smelled heavenly, only to fall flat as soon as it was out.…
