Giggling Gourment's Slurpn'ly Good BBQ Sauce by Giggling GourmetHere's my version of a BBQ sauce for the summer season! It has a nice mild sweetness/smoked flavor to it when said and done. Works awesome as a stand alone dipping sauce as well as a sweet rub on sauce for ribs, chicken, pork on the grill...also found it very nice on a hamburger! For those of us that like it hot...I add 3 pureed… |

Grub Rubbed and Smoked Corned Beef Brisket by SmokinhotchefThis recipe turned out fabulous even though I used a corned beef brisket instead of the traditional brisket. I created a wonderful spice blend especially for grilled meats and coined it Neillio's Grub Rub. Let the brisket marinate in the rub for 1/2 day to 24 hours. I used both the grill and the oven for this recipe and feel great… |

White Dry Rub by John GreenlerI was using my red rub for all meats. It was good but thought the beef needed to treated differantly. I came up with this rub for my red meats. Now I still use my red rub on Brisket but that is the exception. We have also found this to be a great inplace of salt and pepper on your table. |

Monster Shrimp With Orange Chili Sauce by Robyn SavoieThese are big shrimp, the ones that ate the other shrimp. When they opened the cage door after the death match, these are the shrimp that walked out of the ring. Don't turn your back on the grill while you're cooking these -- someone's liable to abscond with them. |

Bacon Wrapped Lamb by Patti FisherWe have a wonderful Easter visit planned from Ken’s best bud Tony, the sailor man. As a thank you for the hospitality gift he gave us was another leg of lamb. He knows us so well! It was the perfect size to wrap in a bacon weave. But then, what isn’t? Patti gave it the perfect seasoning using “Swimmin’ in Smoke” rub “Booty Shake”, so… |

Our Favorite Mac & Cheese by Patti FisherIt’s been rainy and cold here. Comfort food was a must. Ken wanted macaroni and cheese, but it had to be extra cheesy with a crunchy topping. Patti said no problem and added bacon and broccoli to make it tastier and a bit healthy. Our Green Mountain Grill/Smoker added extra flavor along with their Green Mountain “Sizzle Seasoning… |

Filet Mignon Date Night by Patti FisherOur Filet Mignon Date Night tonight we went all out with our complete dinner on the grill. We did a reverse sear filet mignon topped with a bacon wrapped onion ring filled with blue cheese, hasselback potatoes and personal size smoked garlic with bacon and onion. To follow that up Patti made strawberry rhubarb crisp. All kissed with… |

Bacon Crusted Texas Brisket by Robyn SavoiePull out the smoker for this one or be prepared to use your grill. I recommend charcoal over gas. This is time consuming but worth it. I found this recipe in Steven Raichlen's Cookbook; "How to Grill by Steven Raichlen (Workman, 2001)." |

Maple Mustard Crown Roast of Pork by Patti FisherWe wanted to do something different and extra special for one of our Holiday dinners. Patti loved the idea of a crown roast of pork; Ken loved the frilly gold crowns on the frenched pork bones. We’ve mentioned many times the lovely folks we meet at the Murrieta Farmer’s Market. Well, a delightful family named Allee including their… |

Hasselback Potatoes by Patti FisherWe love these sliced, baked potatoes with cheese and bacon. We bake the potatoes and cool them ahead of time so they’re easy to quickly prepare. These are fancy enough for special dinners and convenient enough to mostly prepare the night before. They’re a different and delicious version of a twice baked potato. You can use any flavor… |
