Buttermilk Farro Salad by MaresFound this recipe last year, and it was so good. I pulled it out last weekend when I needed to bring something to a pot luck barbecue and it went over very well. You can substitute other cooked whole grains, like barley, wheat berries if you prefer. Feel free to cut the recipe in half if you prefer. |

Quinoa and Edamame Salad by Kyra MartinI wasn't a huge fan of the dressing for this, so feel free to experiment. I made a big batch though and it reheated nicely and was also good cold for lunch. |

Bacon, Bell Pepper and Bean Salad by Elizabeth @Taste & SproutThis Bacon, Bell Pepper and Bean Salad would keep well sitting out for a couple of hours at a potluck. It's super quick to throw together and is adaptable to whatever is on hand. Certainly couscous, barley, rice, farro or quinoa would work just as well. |
