When blueberries are in season, I have a tendency to go banana over them. This is one of my favorite smoothie recipes for breakfast or snack.

  • 1 Pint Fresh or Frozen Blueberries
  • 1 Cup Pineapple-Orange Juice
  • 8 Oz. Container Low-Fat Greek Strawberry Yogurt
  • 2 Tsp. Granulated Sugar or Honey

Directions

  1. In a container of an electric blender combine blueberries, juice, yogurt and sugar. Blend until smooth, about 1 minute.
  2. Serve immediately in tall glasses. Garnish with blueberry skewers spiraled with thin strips of orange peel, if desired.
