Directions

  1. Sift dry ingredients together into a bowl. Cut shortening into flour mix till it is the consistency of cornmeal.
  2. Combine beaten egg and lowfat milk and slowly pour into flour mix. Stir to make a stiff doug. Knead five times on a floured surface.
  3. Roll to a 1/2 inch thickness, cut with a 1 1/2 inch cutter dipped in flour.
  4. Bake on a lightly greased cookie sheet in a preheated 425 degree oven for 10 to 15 min.
