Spicy peanut sauce Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 Red onion, Brunoise 250g
- 2 Garlic, chopped fine 50g
- 3 Ginger, chopped fine 50g
- 4 Salad oil 50ml
- 5 Cumin powder 15g
- 6 Coriander powder 15g
- 7 Chili powder 10g
- 8 Tumeric powder 5g
- 9 Roasted chopped peanuts skinless 500g
- 10 Peanut butter 500g
- 11 Tamarind 150g
- 12 Warm water 500g
- 13 Water 1000ml
- 14 Brown sugar 500 grams
Directions
- Method
- 1 saute no 1,2,3 into no 4
- 2 add no 5,6,7 and 8 till oil comes out from the paste
- 3then add no 9and 10
- 4 mix 11and 12 together and strain the liquid then add it to the above
- 5 add no 13
- 6 let it boil for approx 20 min and cool it down
- 7 sauce should be able to stand in the frig for up to a week
