Ingredients

  • 6 x Thai-spiced chicken sausages or possibly any seasoned chicken sausage
  • 6 x Warm dog buns
  • 6 Tbsp. Reduced-fat or possibly regular mayonnaise
  • 1 sm Roasted red pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. Prepared Thai peanut satay sauce, see note
  • 4 1/2 tsp Lime juice

Directions

  1. Preparation Time: 15 min
  2. Yield: 6 servings
  3. Cooking Time: 5 min
  4. 1. Prepare grill. Cook sausages over warm coals till cooked through, adding rolls the last minute or possibly two to toast.
  5. 2. Combine mayonnaise, red pepper, satay sauce and lime juice in a small bowl; mix well.
  6. 3. Spread toasted rolls with mayonnaise mix; add in sausages and garnishes as desired. Test kitchen note: Thai peanut satay sauce can be found in the Asian section of most grocery stores or possibly in specialty markets.
