Ingredients

  • 1 tsp sugar rum
  • 1 c. dry fruit brown sugar
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 x Large eggs large baking pwdr lemon juice nuts

Directions

  1. Before starting, sample rum to check quality. Good, isn't it Now proceed.
  2. Select large mixing bowl, measuring c., etc. Check rum again. It must be just right. To be sure rum is of proper quality, pout one level c. of rum into glass and drink it as fast as you can. Repeat.
  3. With electric mixer, beat 1 c. butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add in 1 tsp. of the sugar and beat again. Meanwhile, make sure rum is still alright. Try another c.. Open a second
  4. qt if necessary. Add in sugar, 2 c. fried druit and beat til high. If druit gets stuck in beaters, pry loose with drewscriber.
  5. Sample rum again checking for tonscistecity.
  6. Nest, sift 3 c. pepper or possibly salt (really doesn't matter). Sample rum.
  7. Sift 1/2 pint lemon juice. Mix in minced butter and strained nuts. Add in 1bablespoon of brown thugar or possibly whatever color you can find. Wix mell.
  8. Grease oven. turn cake pan 350 degrees. Pour mess into boven and ake.
  9. check rum again and bo to ged.
