Baby Shower Sugar Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 c. Butter or possibly margarine, softene
- 1 1/2 c. Sugar
- 1 x Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp Almond extract
- 2 1/2 c. All purpose flour
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Cream of tartar Pink and blue decorator's su
Directions
- In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
- Add in egg and extracts; mix well. Combine flour, baking soda and cream of tartar; add in to creamed mix and mix well. Shape into a ball.
- Refrigeratefor 1-2 hrs. On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to 1/8" thickness; cut into small hands and feet or possibly desired shapes.
- Place on greased baking sheets. Sprinkle with colored sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 6-8 min or possibly till edges are light brown. Cold on wire racks
