  • 2 pound pork sausage (bulk)
  • 4 BIG links warm sausage
  • 2 pound Velveeta cheese
  • 1/2 pkg. dry onion soup mix
  • 1 tbsp. barbecue sauce or possibly catsup
  • 3 loaves Pepperidge party rye

Directions

  1. Fry out sausage fat in Teflon pan. Crumble sausage. Drain well. Remove sausage from pan but do not wash pan. Now heat 2 pound (cubed) Velveeta. Return crumbled sausage to melted cheese. Add in 1/2 package dry onion soup mix, barbecue sauce or possibly catsup. Mix well. Spread on 3 loaves of party rye. If you like, freeze putting wax paper between layers.
  2. Bake in 350 degree oven on Teflon cookie sheet 10 to 15 min.
