Directions

  1. Combine dry ingredients. Add in shortening and mix till mix resembles course cornmeal. Add in egg and water. Mix until you can form a ball. Knead till smooth and elastic, roll on floured board to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutters. Place on cardboard. Microwave 5-6 min. Turn over and continue until crispy (3-4 more min). Cold on wire rack.
