Mary's Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. sugar white
- 1/2 c. sugar brown
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 to 3 doz. chocolate kisses
Directions
- Beat butter, peanut butter, white and brown sugar till creamy. Beat in egg and vanilla. In another bowl stir together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend into creamed mix. Place 1/2 c. sugar in a small bowl. Roll dough into 1 inch balls, roll in sugar to coat. Place balls 2 inches apart on greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 min. Remove cookies from oven. Top each with kiss. Press down firmly. Bake 3 to 5 min or possibly till browned. Cold. Makes 2 1/2 to 3 dozen.
