Ingredients

  • 2 x Large eggs -- separated
  • 2/3 c. Honey
  • 4 Tbsp. Nonfat Dry Lowfat milk
  • 1/4 c. Whole-Wheat Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Coriander
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 tsp Baking Pwdr
  • 1 c. Walnuts Or possibly Almonds minced
  • 3/4 c. Sesame Seeds, Unhulled

Directions

  1. 1. Beat egg yolks and honey together.
  2. 2. Combine well the dry ingredients except nuts and seeds. Add in to the honey mix.
  3. 3. Add in the nults and seeds and mix well.
  4. 4. Beat egg whites till they hold stiff peaks, and fold into the dough.
  5. 5. Spread batter in oiled 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake for 25-30 min at 350 F in preheated oven.
  6. 6. Cold in pan and then cut into bars.
  7. NOTES: A dense chewy cookie which offers a lot of food value and a not-so-sweet, nutty flavor.
