Festive Fruit Mince Recipe
Everyone loves a fruit mince pie at Christmas!.Using this fruit mince mix recipe you will be able to bake impressive, traditional Christmas fruit mince tarts or mini festive pies this holiday season to impress the whole family and friends.

Ingredients
- 1 orange, juice & grated rind
- 1 lemon, juice & grated rind
- 150g mixed peel
- 250g brown sugar
- 250g currants
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Ground Mixed Spice
- 125g blanched almonds
- 150g glace cherries
- 100g dried apricots
- 75g glace ginger
- 500g sultanas
- 500g raisins
- 2 apples, peeled & cored
- 1 1/2 cups brandy
Directions
- Place orange juice and rind, lemon juice and rind, mixed peel, brown sugar, currants, salt and Mixed Spice in a large bowl.
- Using a food processor, lightly mince the remaining fruit and nuts in batches and add to the bowl.
- Pour over the brandy and mix well.
- Cover with plastic wrap and leave overnight, then mix well again before packing into clean sterilised jars.
