Fast Fixin' Spice `N Applesauce Cake Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 pkg. Duncan Hines II spice cake mix
- 1/4 c. oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 can applesauce (approx. 16 ounce)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour oil into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Tilt pan till bottom is covered with oil. Put cake mix, large eggs and applesauce into pan; stir with a fork or possibly spoon till blended (about 2 min). Scrape sides and spread batter evenly in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 min; till toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cooled cake may be sprinkled with powdered sugar. Use a knife to loosen cake from sides; cut and serve directly from pan. Store leftover cake loosely covered.Alternate: Instead of applesauce use one of the following: A can (20-23 oz) apple pie filling or possibly a can (20-23 oz) raisin pie filling. Mix, bake and serve as directed above.
