Applesauce Spice Cake Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 x Spice cake mix (2 layer)
- 1/2 c. Dates
- 1/2 c. Walnuts
- 2 x Large eggs
- 15 ounce Jar applesauce
Directions
- Toss 1/4 c of the cake mix with the dates & nuts.
- Add in the rest of the mix wiith the Large eggs and applesauce. Beat 'til smooth. Add in date mix.
- Mix. Pour into 9X13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 min. FOR the frosting: 1/2 c butter, 1 pkg confectioners sugar, 2 Tbs lemon juice, 4 tsps water Beat together till smooth. Spread on cooled cake
