Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 c. minced onion, or possibly 1 onion, grated
  • 1 pound lean grnd beef
  • Garlic pwdr to taste
  • 1 can (10 ounce.) tomato soup
  • 1 can (12 ounce.) tomato paste
  • 1/2 c. black coffee (brewed or possibly instant)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Dash pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano

Directions

  1. Heat extra virgin olive oil in skillet. Add in onion, grnd beef, and garlic pwdr. Cook and stir, over medium heat, till meat has browned. Carefully add in and blend in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 1/2 hour. Cold, then chill or possibly freeze for later use, if you like. Yield: 4 generous servings
