Fast and quickly made brownies that my kid loves. We make this every now and then and she never gets tired of it. Some variety would be adding nuts on top.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F; grease and flour the sides of a 9 inch square pan. (sometimes I use the round pan)
  2. Place a piece of parchment paper to cover the bottom of the pan so you can lift them out easily.
  3. Melt the butter and mix in the sugar.
  4. Put eggs in a large bowl and add a little of the butter & sugar mixture to temper the eggs.
  5. Once mixed together, add the rest of the butter & sugar mixture onto the bowl.
  6. Pour in the vanilla extract (optional) then add the flour, salt, cocoa, and baking powder.
  7. Stir to combine completely and pour in the pan.
  8. Bake the brownie mixture for 25-30 minutes or until the top looks shiny and a toothpick in the middle comes out clean.
  9. Cut into desired portions.
