Easy Bicol Epxess by Alvin SanchezSome say this spicy dish, which is made creamy by gata, has its origins in Manila. Others believe it’s from Bicol. While its origins may be hotly contested, its a testament to the rich and varied flavors our regions have to offer. |

Pochero by Lidy ConcepcionThis is a Filipino version of the Spanish Cocido. It's a little sweet, which makes it even tastier. Beef is usually used, but I sometimes substitute it with pork. Some pochero recipes include chorizos, but I personally don't like eating chorizo so I did not include it in my ingredients. I hope you like my version! |

Binagoongang Baboy (Pork with Shrimp Paste) by ShaleeDPThis is a native Filipino dish that many locals enjoy. To the foreign tongue, it may come quite a bit strong because of the shrimp paste. You can adjust the quantity to make it a bit less salty. I prefer it less salty too. :) |
