Applesauce Cake

Applesauce Cake by Farrell May Podgorsek

This cake is big on warm, spicy flavors. It is simple to make and stays moist for days. Homemade applesauce is so easy to make and I think makes the best cake, but of course you can use applesauce from the store. Stay away from sweetened applesauce for this cake. It is sweet enough without added sugars. I make two 8x4 loaf pan cakes…

No-Bake Apple Tart

No-Bake Apple Tart by Rich H

Get in on the raw food movement! Raw fruits and veggies are really the best way to enjoy all the healthy benefits of a plant-based diet. While I am not a raw foodist in general, I do enjoy raw dishes now and again and really enjoy seeing what I can come up with in the lab (aka kitchen)! Try this one...you'll love it!

Vintage Banana Nut Bread

Vintage Banana Nut Bread by ChaCha Can Cook

This recipe was from the Parke-Davis Cafeteria in Detroit, Michigan in the 1940's. My Grandpa Joe worked there, and loved this recipe so much, he bugged the cafeteria staff until they gave it up. It makes a really moist loaf, or cupcakes. If you decide to frost them, I suggest using a cream-cheese frosting. Yum!
