Cowtown Cookers' Basic Barbecue Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 jar (32-ounce) ketchup
- 1 c. Dark molasses
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Tobasco sauce
- 1 1/2 med Onion, minced fine
- 1 lrg Green pepper, minced fine
- 1/2 c. Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Garlic pwdr
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. Dry mustard
- 3 Tbsp. Vinegar
- 3/4 c. Brown sugar
- 1/4 c. Liquid smoke
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in large pot. Use 1/4 c. water to rinse out ketchup bottle and pour into pot. Bring mix to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer till onion and peppers are tender
