Fantastic Irish Soda Bread by Nancy MiyasakiI made two Irish Soda Breads for St. Patrick's Day this year, and this one was superior. And it is really, really easy! If you eat it hot out of the oven, it melts in your mouth like a warm cornbread. If you let it sit a few hours, it hardens into a thicker texture with the same great taste. You won't be disappointed! |

Runza (Meat & Cabbage Pies) by Bob VincentThis is a modifed old German recipe. These are great served with a hearty soup. They make a substantial appetizer when cut into pieces. Yes, they are high in fat. Don't substitute the vegetable shortening as it is what really makes for soft and delicate dough. The sugar provides a sweetness to the dough. For a bit of color add… |

French Bread by Traditional Yeast Method (no bread machine) by Salad FoodieExperimenting with several ways to get a good loaf of French bread without using my bread machine, I am ready to share this version over all I tried.
