So far of all the cheesecakes I made here at Ang Sarap this is my favourite, the Black Forest Cheesecake. I love the combination of flavours of the already tried and tested combination of Black Forest, the sweet attempting this in a cream cheese cake makes it even better.
Making it look good is very easy as well, I know it looks intimidating from the photos but really you don’t need some serious skills in designing them like how icings are piped into a cake, you just need to scatter the fresh cherries on top then arrange the dark chocolate bark like the one on the photo above. Look at the result it’s so food porn worthy, don’t you agree?

%20Place%20in%20the%20freezer%20until%20it%20hardens.%20Remove%20from%20freezer%20then%20unroll,%20this%20will%20crack%20the%20chocolate%20and%20form%20into%20barks.%20Set%20aside%20in%20a%20cool%20place.%20Place%20softened%20cream%20cheese%20in%20a%20bowl%20together%20with%20sugar%20and%20vanilla%20extract,%20now%20using%20an%20electric%20mixer%20beat%20the%20cheese%20until%20thoroughly%20mixed.%20Dissolve%20gelatine%20in%20hot%20water%20then%20let%20it%20cool%20for%20a%20while.%20Once%20cooled%20down%20add%20into%20the%20cream%20cheese%20mixture,%20continue%20to%20beat%20until%20mixture%20becomes%20fluffy.%20Now%20add%20thickened%20cream%20and%20fold%20until%20it%E2%80%99s%20evenly%20mixed.%20Now%20separate%20%E2%85%93%20of%20the%20mixture%20into%20another%20bowl.%20Set%20all%20aside.%20In%20double%20boiler%20combine%20dark%20chocolate%20and%20cream%20together,%20once%20melted%20and%20smooth%20pour%20chocolate%20in%20the%20%E2%85%94rds%20of%20prepared%20cream%20cheese%20mixture%20then%20mix%20well.%20Pour%20over%20the%20prepared%20crust%20in%20layers,%20first%20half%20of%20the%20chocolate%20cream%20cheese,%20then%20the%20plain%20cream%20cheese%20then%20the%20remaining%20chocolate%20cream%20cheese.%20Then%20top%20it%20with%20the%20cherry%20sauce%20and%20fresh%20cherries.%20Refrigerate%20for%20at%20least%206%20hours%20before%20serving.%20Stick%20the%20chocolate%20bark%20on%20the%20cheesecake%20then%20serve.%20%203.2.2708%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELike%20Loading...%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
