Baked Pork Chops and Apples is a delicious, easy and quick (45 minute) total time start to finish recipe. A great any day dish that uses boneless chops, stuffing mix and apple pie filling all baked together in the oven. Add a salad and/or your favorite green vegetable to round out the meal.

  • Non-Stick cooking spray
  • 1 (6 oz) box stuffing mix for pork,
  • NOTE: (If you can't find stuffing mix for pork,
  • chicken stuffing mix will also work.)
  • 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
  • 6 boneless pork chops (1-1/2 lb total), 3/4 inch thick
  • Salt, black pepper, poultry seasoning, optional (season to taste.)

Directions

  1. 1.Preheat oven to 375º F.
  2. 2. Prepare stuffing mix as directed on package.
  3. 3+. Spread the pie filling onto bottom of 13 x 9 inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray. Season chops if desired. Place chops and stuffing over apple filling. Cover.
  4. 4. Place in oven and cook for 35 minutes or until chops are done (145º F.), uncovering for the last 5 minutes.
  5. 5. Remove baking dish from oven; let stand for 3 minutes before serving.
