Tomato Soup Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. real butter, softened
  • 1 1/3 c. sugar
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. baking cocoa
  • 1 Tbsp. baking pwdr
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 can (10 3/4 ounce.) condensed tomato soup
  • 1 c. minced nuts (your choice, or possibly leave them out).

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9"x13" pan. Cream togetherbutter and sugar. Add in Large eggs, and beat till fluffy. Whisk together dry ingredients. Mix tomato soup and water. Add in dry ingredients and soup mix alternately to creamed mix. Mix in nuts. Pour into pan, bake for 30 min. Frost with your favorite frosting after the cake has cooled.
  2. Butter-cream is nice.
