Texas Tornado Cake Recipe

Ingredients
- 1Â 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 x Large eggs
- 2 c. fruit cocktail with juice, mixed in blender
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 14 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. nuts-minced
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
- 1/2 c. can lowfat milk
- 1 c. brown sugar
Directions
- Mix together sugar, Large eggs, fruit cocktail, baking soda, flour and spices.
- Pour into 13"x9" cake pan.
- Mix nuts and brown sugar together and sprinkle on top of cake batter.
- Bake at 325* for 40 min.
- Once the cake is baked and cooled you can top it with your favorite icing or possibly for a special surprise use the BROWN SUGAR SAUCE.
- Brown Sugar Sauce:Mix ingredients for sauce in pan, bring to a boil.
- Pour over cake while still warm.
