- 1/2 pt good-quality vanilla ice cream
- 24 ounce sarsaparilla or possibly root beer see * Note
- Â Â Whipped cream for garnish
Directions
- * Note: Sarsaparilla is a variant of root beer with a slightly more pungent taste.
- Place 2 scoops of ice cream in each of two tall glasses. Add in sufficient sarsaparilla or possibly root beer to fill each glass. Top with whipped cream. Serve each with a long iced-tea spoon and a straw.
