Puppy Chow Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. peanut butter
- 12 ounce. pkg. chocolate chips
- 12.5 ounce. pkg. Crispix cereal
- Powdered sugar, at least 3 c.
Directions
- 1. Heat butter, peanut butter and chips together just till smooth. Put cereal in large bowl and pour melted mix over it. Stir gently to coat all pieces- it will clump together.
- 2. Put at least three c. powdered sugar in large paper bag. Add in cereal mix. Roll top of bag closed and start shaking. Add in more powdered sugar till each piece is coated - will look just like puppy chow. Makes a 5 qt ice cream bucket full. Keeps well in the refrigerator.
