Pound Cake Recipe
It's very tasty and delicious! Mom always baked when I was a child I learned it from her!:)
Ingredients
- Eggs â 5 pieces
- Powdered sugar â 250 g
- Flour â 250 g
- Oil â 150 ml
- Baking powder â 2 tablespoons (tbsp)
- Vanilla â half tbsp
- Cocoa powder â 1 tbsp
- Butter
Directions
- []Separate whites and yolks of the eggs.
- Preheat your oven up to 350 degrees.
- Put sugar into yolks and mix them up. While mixing, slowly add oil and hot water (150 ml). Also mix in flour and baking powder.
- Put egg whites in a separate bowl and using electric mixer mix them until they expand 4 times, after they are ready, add them to concoction also with vanilla and mix them (by hand this time).
- Pour half of the concoction into greased pan; add cocoa to the other half, mix it and pour on the top of the first half. Do not mix them together.
- Let it baking for 45 minutes (sometimes a bit longer).
- Sprinkle the top of the finished cake with powdered sugar; you can also add some raisins, nuts or pour chocolate.
