  • 1-1/2 pounds ground beef, browned and drained
  • 2 green peppers, cut into small pieces
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 9 potatoes, peeled and sliced, OR use canned sliced potatoes
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup ketchup

Directions

  1. Grease bottom of a 13” x 9” x 2” pan
  2. Layer ingredients into pan:
  3. Cover bottom of pan with potatoes
  4. Layer meat on top of potatoes
  5. Layer green pepper pieces on top on meat Layer onions on top of green peppers Cover with 1/3 of sauce
  6. Repeat layer of potatoes, layer of meat, layer of green peppers. Cover with 1/3 of sauce
  7. Cover with potato slices and the rest of the sauce. Bake at 350 degrees until the potatoes are tender.
