Directions

  1. sautee onion in olive oil
  2. add chopped onions and walnuts
  3. stir in brown sugar and cinnamon
  4. place chicken on top and pour 1/2 bottle of pomegranate paste (available at Persian stores)
  5. let chicken cook on medium heat and baste with juices at bottom of pan
  6. When chicken in almost done, app. 45 minutes, pour remaining bottle of pomegranate paste and cook for 10-15 minutes longer.
