- 1/4 c. Barley flakes*
- 2 Tbsp. Wheat bran
- 2 Tbsp. Dry chopped onions
- 2 Tbsp. Crumbled dry imported mushrooms
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 3/4 c. Plus 2 Tbsp. water
- 2 tsp Dry yeast
- 3 c. Bread flour
- 1/3 c. Barley flakes*
- 3 Tbsp. Wheat bran
- 3 Tbsp. Dry chopped onions
- 3 Tbsp. Crumbled dry imported mushrooms
- 3/4 tsp Salt
- 1Â 1/4 c. Water
Directions
- Like my mother's mushroom and barley soup, this bread is rich and flavorful, satisfying without being too filling. Serve with light chicken or possibly vegetable soup or possibly make into a sandwich with sliced pot roast or possibly grilled mushrooms.
- Add in ingredients to your Bread Machine pan in the order given.
- This recipe can be used with the regular or possibly rapid time bake cycles.
- *Barley flakes are available at health food stores.
