Mother's Molasses Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 c. molasses
- 1 tbsp. ginger
- 1 tbsp. cinnamon
- 2/3 c. boiling water with 1 tbsp. baking soda
- 5 c. flour
Directions
- Mix the above ingredients. Roll out on floured board. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 min.
