  • 1 (15.5 ounce.) pkg. of our fudge brownie mix
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1/2 c. finely minced nuts
  • 1 1/2 c. chilled whipping cream
  • 1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tbsp. powdered instant coffee
  • Shaved chocolate

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 2 layer pans, 9 x 1 1/2 inches. Blend brownie mix (dry), water, and Large eggs. Stir in nuts. Spread in pans. Bake 20 min. Cold 5 min in pans; remove from pans and place on wire racks to cold completely. In chilled bowl, beat cream till it begins to thicken. Gradually add in sugar and instant coffee; continue beating till stiff. Fill layers with 1 c. of the cream mix. Frost with remaining cream mix; sprinkle with chocolate. Refrigerateat least 1 hour. 10 to 12 servings.
  2. 3 c. frzn whipped topping (thawed) can be substituted for the whipping cream and sugar.
