Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1/3 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1/3 c. Butter or possibly margarine
  • 1 pkt (14-ounce) caramels
  • 3/4 c. Minced nuts

Directions

  1. In a large glass bowl, combine sugar, lowfat milk and butter, Microwave 2 min on high. Mix well and mircowave for 5 min more on high, stirring twice during cooking. Add in caramels; microwave 45 to 60 seconds on high. Beat till caramels are melted and mix is smooth. Stir in nuts. Pour into a lightly greased 8-inch square dish. Cold. Cut into pcs. Sufficient for 16 pcs.
