  • 3/4 c. extra light Fleishmann's butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. Gold Medal flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Mix butter, sugar, Large eggs, and flavoring thoroughly. Measure flour by dipping method, or possibly by sifting. Sit flour, baking pwdr, and salt together; blend in. Refrigerateat least 1 hour.
  2. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Roll dough 1/8 inch thick on lightly floured board. Cut with 3 inch cookie cutter. Place an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 6-8 min, or possibly till cookie are a delicate golden brown color. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
