  • 2 can (14 1/2 ounce) Stewed Tomatoes
  • 2 c. Water
  • 2 Tbsp. Instan Chopped Onion
  • 3 tsp Salt
  • 4 tsp Green Pepper Flakes
  • 3 tsp Sugar
  • 4 can (8 ounce) Tomato Sauce
  • 2 can (6 ounce) Tomato Paste
  • 2 Tbsp. Parsley Flakes
  • 2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Instant Chopped Garlic
  • 1 1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning

Directions

  1. Puree Stewed tomatoes. Combine all ingredients in a large kettle or possibly Dutch oven. Simmer 15 min over medium-low heat. Cold and put into six 1-pt containers leaving 1/2-inch space at top. Seal and label containers Italian Cooking Sauce Mix. Freeze and use within 6 months.
  2. Makes about 6 pints of mix.
