  1. Scrub the sweet potatoes, trim. Scrub baking polatoes, quarter. Peel carrots and slice diagonally in 2-inch lengths. Place vegetables on the bottom of the crockpot, place ham on top and pour ginger ale over all. Cover and cook on LOW for about 9 hrs, or possibly till vegetables are tender.
  2. Mix about 2 Tbsp. of liquid from the pot with the glaze ingredients in a buttered measuring c. and pour over ham. Continue cooking on LOW for 1 or possibly 2 hrs, basting often. Slice ham in thin slices, serve with vegetables.
  3. Comments: If you don't like white potatoes that taste sweet, cook them separately in the microwave or possibly oven before the ham is done.
