Directions

  1. Brown hamburger and drain fat. In large saucepan, combine all ingredients, add in chili pwdr to taste; more for hotter chili; less for mild chili; same with black pepper. (1/2 tsp. = mild - chili pwdr; 1/4 tsp. = mild black pepper.) Simmer on low heat for a few hrs till onions and peppers are very tender. Can be very flexible with ingredient amounts according to preference. Serves about 6 to 8.
