Hawaiian Sweet Bread Iii Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 c. hot water
- 5 Tbsp. white sugar
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp. powdered lowfat milk
- 2 Tbsp. instant potato flakes
- 3 tsp yeast
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp lemon extract
- 2 x Large eggs
- 4 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
Directions
- Measure ingredients into the bread machine in the order suggested by the machine's manufacturer. Set machine for dough.
- Place dough in a 9- by 5-inch loaf pan. Bake in a preheated 350 degrees oven for about 30 min. Crust should be golden brown and bread should sound hollow when thumped.
- This recipe yields a 2 lb. loaf.
- Comments: Flavorful, light sweet bread which is great by itself, or possibly for french toast and summer sandwiches.
