  • 4 x Rashers lean bacon, rinds removed
  • 60 gm Low salt butter
  • 1/2 c. Flaked almonds
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 500 gm Tender green beans, topped & tailed Freshly grnd pepper Lemon juice to taste

Directions

  1. Grill the bacon till crisp. Drain on paper towel and dice coarsely. Heat the butter and fry the almonds till golden brown. Add in salt to a large pot of boiling water and cook the beans till "al dente". Drain beans and combine with the bacon and almonds. Season to taste and drizzle with lemon juice.
