Grandma B's Whole Wheat Flat Bread Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 quart. cool water
- 1 quart. scalded lowfat milk
- 3 packages. yeast
- 6 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. honey
- 3 full c. whole wheat flour
- 3 c. white flour
- 1 c. fat, melted (not warm)
Directions
- Mix well with spoon. Add in sufficient white flour to make dough slightly sticky. Knead a little. Let it rise double in size. Punch down and rise dough again. Divide into 6 round loaves. Let rise a little. Take loaves and stretch into oblong flats. (1 pair per cookie sheet about 1 to 1 1/4 inches thick.) Prick with butt end of butter knife. Let rise 10 to 15 min. Bake 30 min at 375 degrees. Makes 6 large loaves. Excellent warm. Freeze the rest to have on hand for later use.
